Dance Class


Dance 4 Fitness class was fun. There were only 4 people for today's class, 2 were uber thin and another lady and myself weren't (I'm the heaviest :( lol). I managed to keep up with today's workout and only wheezed a bit after. I'm sure each class is going to get more intense which is good, but we'll see if I can keep up. Seems the older and bigger I get, the less coordinated I've become.

Calling for an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and see if I can't get in on Monday. I want to just be checked out to make sure that my getting winded after intense exercise and going up steep inclines (like in Yosemite) isn't more than just my asthma.

I'm going to post my first weigh-in next Saturday. Unfortunately, I'm still 217.4 lbs. You would think I could at least lose 5 oz to get to the 216 mark, but NO! LOL

well, you it will do you good. don't strain yourself too much! diet is long term and it's a lifestyle! :)

Hi Ciara, I've called by a few times, but this is the first time I've left a comment. You seem to be working very hard at the weight loss thing. I've slipped a bit over the last week, but you've inspired me to get my step DVD out again. My Dad's visiting in 10 days, I haven't seen him for three years, so I will have to look good. I always jump on the scales in the morning, they say that's when you are at you lightest. Sad isn't it. Good luck with the good work, I'm not brave enough to post my weight, just the loss! LOL Debs

MWM and I are going to a Salsa class on Thursday, hopefully with oldest son and wife if they can get a babysitter. I'll let you know how it goes. Hope the Doc gives you the all clear.

elween-yes, i seriously need to get in shape. having thyroid disease it's kind of necessary. i'm trying my best :)

debs-i was a little hesitant at first to post my weight, but what the hell. it's a struggle, it's a journey...i weigh myself in the mornings, too, because it is when you weigh your lightest and you can definitely fluctuate through the day. i just wish i were a little more motivated to exercise than i am lol

ake-i would LOVE to learn salsa. i don't think stinky would fare well though. he's got two left feet lol

can't wait to hear how it went...a post maybe?
